Private Credit - Direct Lending - Leveraged Loan Underwriting - Leveraged Finance - Middle Market

If you are an experienced Credit Analyst with a strong transactional background in middle market leveraged lending, then we have an interesting opportunity for you. Our client is an established private credit platform with plenty of dry powder and future growth plans. In this role, you will work closely with the origination teams to underwrite new business (70%) and monitor and report on the existing portfolio (30%). Responsibilities:
Conduct due diligence efforts, analyzing historical financial statements and key operating metrics, financial projection modeling, asset valuation, researching industry drivers and trends, identifying and mitigating key transaction risks, constructing the appropriate debt structure and terms. Manage a portfolio of existing credit investments totaling approximately $200 million. Analyze and spread borrowers' financial results as reported and provide internal updates, financial reports and covenant compliance. Maintain regular communication with borrowers and sponsors to receive performance updates. You'll have a high level of visibility and impact on the success of the business. Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and 6+ years relevant experience with a direct lender, private credit fund or similar credit platform. Completion of a formal credit training program is preferred. Must have:
strong credit skills and middle market deal experience, proficiency with cash flow modeling and capital structure analysis. Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance to New York City and be available to work onsite in midtown Manhattan. Benefits: The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000, depending on experience. The position includes bonus eligibility and a generous company benefits package.
