Environmental Project Manager Leadership Track
Are you a licensed environmental professional ready to lead complex remediation projects and grow into a strategic leadership role? Join a high-impact team that's reshaping Southern California's environmental landscape through innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. We're hiring a Project Manager with around 1015 years of experience (more senior candidates welcome if they bring exceptional skills). This is a leadership-track role designed to support and eventually succeed a senior technical leader. You'll work on cutting-edge remediation strategies, brownfield redevelopment, and regulatory coordinationwhile mentoring junior staff and collaborating with top-tier professionals. What You'll Do: Lead environmental investigations and remediation projects, including RI/FS, system design, and O&M. Manage field operations and oversee contractors for soil, vapor, and groundwater sampling. Develop conceptual site models, write technical reports, and perform QA/QC. Coordinate with regulatory agencies (DTSC, RWQCB, EPA) to secure permits and ensure compliance. Interface directly with clients, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality deliverables. Support proposal development, client interviews, and strategic project planning. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture. What We're Looking For: Licensed PG or PE in California (or ability to obtain). Strong background in Phase I/II ESAs, subsurface investigations, and regulatory negotiation. Experience with remediation system design, construction, and O&M. Familiarity with Southern California sites and clients. Excellent technical writing, data management, and client communication skills. Experience managing large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams. CQA experience (especially landfill or field-related) is a plus. Ability to work well with diverse personalities and adapt to team culture. Bonus Points For: Master's or PhD in geology, environmental science, or engineering. Experience with vapor intrusion, PFAS, litigation support, or landfill redevelopment. Background in developer or attorney-supported projects. CIH credential or safety expertise. Experience with advanced modeling tools and conceptual site modeling. Why Join Us?
