As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and overseeing environmental investigation and remediation projects. Your role will involve ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, preparing technical reports for regulatory agencies such as the Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), and conducting soil sampling, environmental monitoring, and other fieldwork activities. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success, while also mentoring and developing junior staff. Utilizing project management tools, you will manage project data and documentation, staying current with regulatory frameworks and compliance trends. Key responsibilities include: Project Management:
Lead and oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion. Technical Reporting:
Prepare detailed technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies. Fieldwork:
Conduct soil sampling, environmental monitoring, and other essential fieldwork activities. Collaboration:
Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution. Mentorship:
Guide and support junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development. Data Management:
Utilize project management tools to efficiently manage project data and documentation. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated with the latest regulatory frameworks and compliance trends. Essential skills include: Project management Remediation Environmental engineering Environmental consulting Report writing Business development Minimum 2 years of CA experience in environmental consulting Ability to write comprehensive reports Ability to provide transcripts 5-10 years of demonstrated capability in environmental science or engineering Proven technical skills in environmental investigation and remediation projects Environmental compliance Soil sampling Environmental remediation Site assessment Environmental construction Environmental monitoring Phase II environmental site assessments Phase I environmental site assessments Environmental investigations Additional skills and qualifications include: Must have at least 2 years of CA experience in environmental consulting. Must be proficient in writing detailed reports and providing transcripts. 5-10 years of demonstrated capability in the environmental science or engineering field. Proven technical skills in environmental investigation and remediation projects. Work environment: Join a team of 14 dedicated members in a full-time in-office role with flexible hours, allowing for work-from-home options if needed. For the first two years, expect a 50/50 split between office work and fieldwork. For those with 5+ years of experience, fieldwork reduces to 10%.
