Local ________________________________________________________________________________________ Job Description CCI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect SME to join our team supporting U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award. The ideal candidate has expert proficiency in providing guidance and strategic recommendations for delineation and classification of Mission-Ready Terrain-Cyber (MRT-C), Key Terrain-Cyber (KT-C), and cyber domains including Blue, Red, and Gray spaces. Leveraging understanding of DoDD 3020.45, the individual will apply analytical methodologies to identify, prioritize, and manage risks within the cyber landscape. This senior role is critical for enabling resilient C5IM capabilities. The SME will lead system evaluations against zero-trust, defense-in-depth principles, and oversee security control implementations, conduct threat modeling, and provide leadership on cybersecurity initiatives. They will also mentor other professionals in the field. Key Responsibilities: Lead assessments of MRT-C and KT-C architecture for security and resiliency. Provide guidance on zero-trust and defense-in-depth strategies. Oversee and validate DoD and NIST security control implementations. Conduct threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities. Deliver technical and management leadership on cybersecurity projects. Serve as the primary expert in cybersecurity domain. Mentor and develop junior staff. Required Qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in cybersecurity architecture roles. Bachelor's degree and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP/ SecurityX). Mastery of cybersecurity architecture principles, extensive practical experience, and knowledge of zero-trust, defense-in-depth, and security control requirements. Desired Qualifications: Prior experience as a Security Architect, especially in military cybersecurity operations. Experience developing mission assurance strategies and leading cybersecurity teams. Master's degree and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level. Familiarity with TVM tools like ACAS/Tenable, SIEM tools such as Splunk and QRadar, MADSS, and OSINT. ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect A culture of integrity.
