Network Architect, SME Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local CCI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Architecture Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team supporting our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Enterprise Information Environment Network Architectures and processes in alignment with ITIL best practices. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of changes across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Key Responsibilities: Lead architecture development supporting interoperable C2 and cyber systems and operations services. Manage, maintain, and evolve digital modeling and systems engineering for USSOUTHCOM lifecycle engineering across the IT project lifecycle. Participate in ITSM processes for upcoming changes to the Enterprise architectural products. Direct incident and problem management activities within the A&E team. Oversee MBSE with digital modeling for system design and RTM generation. Lead in C5IM architecture, including MBSE As-Is Architectures. Drive IT modernization and manage documentation across all sites. Support USSOUTHCOM Zero Trust Implementation. Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives. Possess domain and expert technical knowledge. May supervise others. Required Qualifications: Must hold an active secret level clearance. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 8-12 years of experience in IT Network Architecture. DoD 8140 Intermediate or equivalent industry certificate. TOGAF, CCSP or SCEP Certifications. ITIL v4 Foundation certification. Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Expertise in architectural governance facilitating agile engineering approaches such as DevOps, DevSecOps, MBSE, and Zero Trust Architecture. Proficiency in creating MBSE products, supporting tech refreshes, and system integration analysis for cyber-enabling services. Mastery in delivering engineering reports, managing hardware refreshes, and cyber patching. Capacity to supervise others and operate with autonomy in developing methodologies and solutions. Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large, distributed IT enterprise environments.
