iOS Software Engineer - AppleTV App
The Apple TV app team creates and manages the Apple TV app on iOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS platforms, which redefine and refine the way people watch their favorite shows, movies, and more. The team also manages critically acclaimed and award-winning Apple Originals in Apple TV+. The Apple TV App team is seeking an energetic and self-driven software engineer who will play a central role in the development of future iterations of the app and system integrations. You will work with talented engineers in a multifaceted, technically fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are proficient in development best practices, comfortable working in large code bases, can build tools and frameworks, and can balance multiple projects and deliverables. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience building iOS applications using Obj-C and/or Swift Experience working with UIKit, CALayers, or Core Animations Solid understanding of multi-threading and GCD Strong understanding of data structure and algorithms BS in Computer Science or industry experience equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Typescript and/or Javascript Understanding of runloops Understanding of HTTP and/or REST APIs Understanding of SwiftUI and/or Combine At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
