Business Analyst / Project Manager Associate
The Legal and Compliance (L&C) COO Technology Team delivers process and technology innovation and transformation to drive operational scale for the Legal and Compliance department and implements solutions that reduce regulatory and reputational risks for BlackRock. The team provides business analysis, project management, business process reengineering, solution design, and change management for L&C's large and complex technology projects. The Business Analyst / Project Manager Associate is responsible for leading the full project lifecycle for L&C technology projects, including documenting requirements, and management of all project phases through deployment. The role utilizes technology and analytical tools to enhance processes and create scale. It partners with various BlackRock's technology and software development teams as well as 3rd-party providers to deliver new development, implementations, enhancements, and business process improvement. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders across L&C and internal engineering teams to understand and document requirements in alignment with business needs. They will create clear project plans and manage and track the progress of project tasks, providing transparency to stakeholders. They will drive full lifecycle initiatives and help manage/maintain the existing application base in accordance with the standard software development lifecycle (SDLC). They will also be responsible for streamlining MI & Reporting using data visualization applications. The candidate should be aware of current and emerging industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities
Provide business analysis and detailed requirements capture Ensure project documentation meets the standard outlined by the team's governance framework Identify key deliverables and milestones to build a project plan that shows dependencies, sequencing, and estimates. Manage the day-to-day project deliverables including providing project status updates to stakeholders Actively identify gaps that pose a risk to project success. Create data visualizations and management reporting using applications such as Power BI & Tableau Provide technological support to Legal & Compliance on key applications that are vital to daily operations of the department The candidate has an opportunity to be involved in global and regional initiatives and will acquire product knowledge and exposure to multiple teams. For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$95,000.00 - USD$127,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
