The posted compensation range of $21.23 - $29.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities Provides nursing care and administers medications, observes and accurately documents patients' conditions. Informs charge nurse of all significant changes. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned and within competency. Provides guidance and assistance to Nursing Assistants or Nursing Students. Nursing care is supervised and the LVN is accountable to the RN. Seeks information and directions as needed to provide safe care. Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing program required. Current/valid Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse from the state licensing board required. 1 year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting required. 6 months of hemodialysis experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association Dialysis certification by a state or National Program *must be obtained within 1 year of date of hire or transfer Effective verbal and written communication skills Must take Ishara's Color Blindness test upon hire.
