Fiscal Clerk
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Fiscal Clerk to join our non-profit team in Youngstown, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance with organizational policies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful causes while leveraging your accounting expertise. Responsibilities: Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and maintain transparency. Process payments to vendors, staff, and other stakeholders promptly and accurately. Conduct monthly reconciliations, including reviewing bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records. Assist in designing and implementing effective financial management strategies. Maintain confidential financial records while adhering to organizational policies. Collaborate with the finance team to perform audits and ensure compliance with legal and internal guidelines. Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, and invoice processing tasks. Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to manage and report financial data. Perform additional financial and administrative duties as required. Requirements: Previous experience in an accounting or fiscal role, preferably within a non-profit organization. Proficiency in financial systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. Strong skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with invoice processing and data entry tasks.
