Teaching Faculty III

The Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business mentors and develops real estate MBA and MS students as future leaders in the commercial real estate industry. These duties fall into three main categories: recruiting and admissions; on-boarding and advising; and placement. Recruitment and Graduate Admissions: Partner with the MBA/MS program offices on recruitment and admissions activities; Review MBA/MS applications, interview selected candidates, and make admission recommendations to the graduate admissions team; Advise on merit awards and scholarships; Advising and Career Development: Work with Associate Director of MSRE to design and lead real estate student orientation experiences fall and spring; Partner with the WREAA, Graaskamp Center and alumni to provide student networking opportunities and attend industry conferences; Serve as the primary point of contact for newly admitted graduate real estate students in PERE and AREIT tracks, supporting their transition to graduate school and helping them understand curriculum pathways, degree timelines, and specialized track options; Monitor graduate student enrollment each semester for students in PERE and AREIT tracks to ensure alignment with degree requirements, graduate coursework minimums, and appropriate course sequencing across specialized tracks; Provide individual career advising on job search strategy, cover letters, resume reviews, alumni networking, and offer negotiation for MSRE and MBA students in PERE and AREIT tracks; Coordinate with Associate Director of MSRE Program and Career Development staff on career development programming and tracking internship and full-time job outcomes for graduate students.
