Infrastructure Architect
We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect in Jersey City, NJ. Position type: Contract to Hire Duration: 6+ Months About the Role: We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead and support our Enterprise Voice and Video platforms, enabling seamless communication and collaboration across the firm. This role requires deep technical expertise in unified communications systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to drive platform improvements and integrations at scale. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and operational excellence of industry-leading platforms such as Zoom and Zoom Phone, while leveraging cloud technologies like AWS to deliver resilient, secure, and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the engineering, deployment, and optimization of enterprise voice and video platforms across global regions. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on tools such as Zoom and Zoom Phone. Architect and implement voice/video solutions that align with business needs, security policies, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, cybersecurity, risk, and vendor teams to deliver integrated, scalable solutions. Oversee complex migrations, feature rollouts, lifecycle upgrades, and decommissioning of legacy systems. Develop automation and tooling to improve reliability, observability, and efficiency (using Python, PowerShell, or similar). Support cloud-based architecture and integration with platforms such as AWS, with a focus on resiliency and performance. Provide tier-3 support, perform root cause analysis, and drive incident resolution and continuous improvement. Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and architectural diagrams. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of relevant experience managing enterprise voice and video platforms. Proven expertise with: Zoom & Zoom Phone (including large-scale deployments), Cisco Call Manager, Webex, Expressway, Adobe Connect. Strong scripting or development experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript). Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments. Preferred Qualifications: Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Experience with SIP routing, SBCs, voice gateways, and call analytics. Exposure to compliance monitoring tools (e.g., Theta Lake, NICE, Verint). Familiarity with the integration of collaboration tools with ITSM, directory services, and productivity platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Office 365). PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: $85 -$88/Hr.
