Practice Administrator
The Practice Administrator coordinates activities with the clinical, front desk, and administrative teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective business operations on a day-to-day basis and ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service. The Practice Administrator contributes to the growth of the medical practice by promoting an excellent, positive, professional image and actively participates as a member of the team carrying out all leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. The Practice Administrator is responsible for the financial health and stability of the practice. Essential Functions: Oversee the practice's professional performance metrics, patient care, and financials Ensure adequate staff coverage, coordinate time off, approve timesheets, participate in staff recruitment, supervision, performance management, and disciplinary actions Plan, develop, organize, and implement clinic goals, objectives, policies and procedures Identify process gaps and implement improved workflows Establish effective communication information flow within the practice Monitor provider's credentialing status in partnership with the credentialing team Oversee inventory and purchasing of medical and office supplies, and oversees maintenance of the facility Ensure services are provided in a professional manner while promoting patient satisfaction and manageable patient flow Coordinated with the marketing and communications team for advertising and patient engagement Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients Knowledge of Revenue Cycle including billing/coding principles, denial management, payer contracting and credentialing, and revenue analysis Knowledge of risk management procedures, RAF scores, and established quality performance metrics required for top performance in delivery of Value Based Care Knowledgeable of Human Resources principles and ability coach staff and build cohesive teams Ability to work onsite during clinic hours Monday-Friday and occasional evening/weekend hours (as needed) Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry Attend regularly scheduled managerial and quality meetings Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Qualifications: 3+ years' experience in an outpatient clinic setting 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a medical or business office setting Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required Proficiency working with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook Salary Range: $83,000 - $127,000
