Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician with us: You will do non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose drug preparation, delivering medications to patient care areas, checking medication storage areas for outdates, billing, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications you will need for this role: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Technician Certificate, or Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate. If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, you must achieve a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred. The ability to work accurately and with attention to detail. Possesses communication, teamwork, customer service, computer, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
