The posted compensation range of $29.02 - $42.08 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. The Surgical First Assistant is responsible for assisting the physician throughout the intra-operative phase, as well as contributing to the delivery of quality patient care by working with other surgical team members during the preoperative and immediate postoperative phases. Provides skilled assistance to the surgeon. Assists with individual operating room setup Assists with positioning, prepping and draping the patient. Communicates with the surgeon and health care team regarding patient's condition Other duties as assigned by management. Certified Surgical Assistant or college degree in health related field with five years of first assisting experience CSTFA National Certification, AHA BCLS, Tennessee Physician Quality Verification Organization Effective verbal and written communication skills, use of general patient care equipment, ability to adapt to changes in health care technology, demonstrates skilled assistance to the surgeon, credentialing through the medical staff #hellosurgicaltechs CHI Memorial, a member of CommonSpirit, is an award-winning, not-for-profit, faith-based health care organization dedicated to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
