Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee multi-state payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to GAAP standards.
Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Finance teams to deliver timely payroll services for union and non-union employees. Administer weekly and bi-weekly payroll, manage tax filings, certified reports, benefits deductions, and union dues. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, prepare payroll reports, and support month-end closing activities. Train employees on payroll systems, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile journal entries and benefits invoices. Required: 5+ years payroll experience, knowledge of multi-state and union payroll, proficiency with payroll systems, strong organizational skills, and understanding of tax laws and GAAP.
