We have an exciting opportunity open for a Supervisor of Leak Detection based in either Little Rock, Maumelle, Texarkana, Hot Springs, AR or Lawton, Ada, OK. Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Natural Gas Utility Leak Survey - Working Supervisor. This position will oversee the leak survey activities of our natural gas distribution system to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural gas distribution systems and experience in leak survey techniques. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the leak survey team, including vehicle coordination and cross-training. Approve all field service management (FSM) orders. Approve time and expenses for leak survey team members. Support day-time personnel issues and conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports. Monitor and maintain compliance schedule to ensure no out-of-compliance surveys and conduct quality assurance surveys on request. Conduct special leak surveys, including those related to storm damage, and maintain leak equipment and vehicles. Maintain safety-related training for compliance and ensure safety guidelines are followed. Work nearby LISA and gap orders only. Position Qualifications: Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including PHMSA, API, and OSHA standards. Strong technical expertise in natural gas distribution systems and leak survey techniques. Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in natural gas distribution systems and leak survey techniques. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
