Position Summary:

Under the leadership of the Sr. Director - IT Solutions & Health Plan Management, is responsible for managing the daily operations of the organization's information technology services. Ensures that all IT systems, including the electronic medical record (EMR), ancillary systems, human resources information system (HRIS) are functioning effectively and securely and in compliance with relevant regulations such as HIPAA. Collaborates with other clinical and administrative staff to ensure systems meet user needs, equipment and telecommunication systems remain updated and functional, and makes recommendations for upgrades/new technology where appropriate.

Specific Duties and Functions: Support and guide general IT strategy and initiatives for PACE Southeast MI including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), audio/visual communication systems including phones and video conferencing, and any related hardware, software, or applications. Ensures ongoing functionality of new and existing systems including planning and implementation for new centers. EMR Administration including implementation of EMR changes, integrations, updates, and education. Oversees the work of the PACE IT Team, ensuring balanced workloads, appropriate assignments that match skills/abilities, and provides for backup coverage to respond to any outages, downtime, or system/equipment issues in real time. Stay updated on emerging healthcare technologies, trends, and regulations with a focus on the use of Artificial intelligence where indicated. Coordinate and collaborate with HFHS IT for issues related to email, HFHS connections, IDs, servers, etc. Lead IT projects including upgrades and new implementations. Investigate issues related to IT security, data breaches, and related concerns. Analyze and improve existing IT processes and workflows for efficiency. Make recommendations for new technology, system changes, and other needed modifications to ensure technology supports business operations 24/7 efficiently. Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Technology, Health Information Management, Data Management, or related Degree. Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare office environment using an electronic medical record. Working Conditions:

Participant care environments at multiple sites with potential exposure to communicable diseases. Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible
