Responsibilities
scheduling appointments
packaging and mailing earmold orders, device repairs, and returns
maintaining supply inventories
cleanings and checks on hearing aids and accessory devices
troubleshooting and minor repairs to hearing aids
setup and troubleshooting hearing aid Bluetooth connectivity
instructing patients on proper use and care of hearing aids and accessory devices
assisting audiologists with setup and technical tasks
maintaining and restocking test and treatment rooms
performing infection control duties within the clinic/service
interacting with hearing instrument manufacturers/suppliers regarding status of orders/repairs
Requirements to obtain Audiology Assistant License in Maryland - we will help you apply for this once employed here if needed
To qualify for an audiology assistant license, an applicant must:
Be of good moral character;
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent degree;
Demonstrate oral competency;
Submit to a criminal history records check
