The inventory lead oversees and maintains warehouse inventory, project allocation along with project closeouts. The lead is responsible for project completion counts, maintaining transactional movements in ERP system, processing warehouse picks, and job bin allocations to ensure accurate costing on projects. The lead is also responsible for central inventory yearly audit counts along with consistent accuracy available items.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for all inventory control. Perform yearly audit checks on company inventory. Communicate with project execution teams on any inventory related issues. Reviewing traceability information in IFS receiving system. Identify and tag inventory items. Move newly received items from quarantine area to inventory locations. Organize inventory according to standards. Assist kitting requirements per shop capacities. Manage documented items as they enter and exit the inventory area. Maintain warehouse cleanliness. Cycle counts to ensure accuracy throughout inventory. Completion of project closeouts to ensure costing on projects is accurate. Operate forklift. Supervisor employees to ensure outputs are timely & accurate. Promote safety awareness and comply with all applicable safety procedures and regulations. Maintain current knowledge of safety standards. Be familiar with Company HSE policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with inventory control systems Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written Ability to demonstrate strong decision-making skills, initiative and assertiveness
