Our team is partnering with an automotive supplier to source an experienced Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for a skilled technician with proven expertise in electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding. A welding certification is preferred, along with previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, hydraulic equipment, and mechanical machinery. Execute welding and fabrication tasks as required; ensure all welds meet quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose issues and implement solutions. Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and communicate equipment status to supervisors and production teams. Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements: 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry experience preferred). Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding techniques. Welding certification preferred (MIG, TIG, or Stick). No PLC experience needed. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Flexible to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
