As Senior Vice President/Vice President, Marketing, you will join our global team of over 300 marketers, driving marketing strategy and growth in our Hospitality Cloud division. This role requires deep expertise in the hospitality industry to deliver value to our customers. It is a highly visible role, serving as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that meet business objectives. In This Role, You Will Serve as the Operating Model Lead for marketing, acting as a key architect of Cvent’s marketing strategy for the Hospitality Cloud business. Understand hospitality market trends, customer needs, and buyer segments, including hotels, hotel management chains, convention/visitor bureaus, and unique venues, translating these insights into actionable strategies. Own and drive bookings quotas through innovative brand positioning, packaging strategies, and go-to-market plans in collaboration with Sales and Product Management. Oversee strategic customer marketing initiatives with Customer Success to improve satisfaction, retention, advocacy, and account expansion. Provide leadership to cross-functional marketing teams (Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, etc.) to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives. Partner with Product Management, Sales, and other teams to identify growth opportunities and bring products and solutions to market. Lead the execution of marketing strategies emphasizing data-driven differentiation, value propositions, and messaging. Develop segment-based marketing plans to drive bookings, expansion, and retention. Promote Cvent’s products and platform internally and externally. Drive business review rhythms and accountability for measurable outcomes. Foster continuous learning and operational excellence, including AI integration. Use data and analytics to measure results, inform decisions, and optimize strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred. 15+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven record in strategy and results in a matrix environment. Experience marketing to hotels, hotel chains, bureaus, or venues is required. Deep understanding of hospitality industry personas, challenges, and business models. Experience working in the hospitality industry is a plus. Strong executive presence, influence, and cross-team collaboration skills. Experience with integrated go-to-market strategies including demand generation and sales support. Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear strategies. Growth mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Data-driven decision-making skills. Interest in responsible AI use to improve productivity and customer experience.
