Position: Rapid 7 Network Security Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6-12 Months

Rapid 7 Nexpose Administrator

Top Three Skills:

3+ years of experience as a Rapid 7 Nexpose Administrator
3+ years of experience with enterprise-level security controls environment
Ability to understand and articulate the "OWASP Top 10" concepts

Work Description: Design, develop, and maintain computer and network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Typically requires at least three years of experience and a professional degree.
• Deep experience in Network Security architecture design, evaluation, deployment, or support, covering areas such as Firewalls, VPN, Authentication, Encryption, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Intrusion Detection.
• Expertise in supporting Checkpoint/Solaris firewalls in high-availability enterprise environments.
• Strong skills in Checkpoint, Solaris, and Cisco networking.

We are looking for a Rapid 7 Nexpose administrator capable of managing enterprise environments, recommending vulnerabilities for remediation, and issuing support tickets.
