Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time permanent Inpatient Psychiatrist Physician. Highlights/Requirements Starting base salary: $260,000 - $300,000 per year Daily schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Formulates assessment and plan according to accepted protocols, treatment plans or attending physician's treatment protocols, treatment plans or recommendations. Records data from patient visit, including chief complaints, active problems, medications, physical findings and results of diagnostic tests. Orders labs and non-invasive diagnostic and preventative screening tests as indicated. Prescribes medications according to formulary. Performs lab review, identifying abnormalities according to established guidelines. Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State We offer: Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans.
