Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time Tele-Radiologist. This opportunity is a pillar of the institution and boasts a strong clinical and teaching reputation in the region. Highlights/Requirements Starting base salary: $300,000 - $400,000 per year Daily schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Provides overflow interpretation services to remote client locations. Interprets diagnostic digital radiography, CT, MRI and US examinations of the head, spine, neck, body, extremities and internal organs as appropriate. Accesses studies for interpretation through the VISN 16 Picture Archiving and Communications System(s) and reports findings electronically Protects printed and electronic files containing sensitive data Uses word processing software to execute several office automation functions Performs lab review, identifying abnormalities according to established guidelines. Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State Preferred: Board certification or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Preferred: Cross Sectional Body Imaging preferred. Preferred: Sub-Specialty Board Certification. We offer: Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans.
