This full-time position offers a competitive salary. Position Highlights: Provides guidance and clinical supervision for the nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health technicians assigned to the Surgical Service when appropriate. Provides guidance and supervision for the medical students and residents assigned to the Surgical Service Participates and attends medical center committee meetings as assigned by the Chief, Surgical Service in his/her absence. Assist in the development, implementation, and expansion of programs in the Surgical Service, Competitive salary and full federal benefits package Tour of duty (schedule):Monday - Friday 08:00 AM - 4:30 PM Basic Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible Unrestricted U.S. medical license Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
