Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group has a new 7,400 Sq. Ft office with 10 exam and 2 EMG rooms in Venice, FL, and we are hiring multiple General and Sub-Specialty Neurologists to join our team. All neurologists, including Fellowship-trained in Neuromuscular, Behavioral, and Movement Disorders, are encouraged to apply. Opportunity Highlights: Join 13 Board-Certified general and sub-specialty neurologists in a collegial practice environment. Inpatient/Outpatient or Outpatient only positions are available. Group has 6 PAs/APRNs providing coverage in the clinic and hospital settings. Neurohospitalist coverage is provided at both SMH-Sarasota and SMH-Venice. Outpatient services are available in three clinic locations in Sarasota and Venice. Hospital has separate Neurology and Stroke inpatient service lines. Telestroke coverage is provided by an outside contracted group for nights and weekends for both hospitals. Large referral base from the employed physicians in First Physicians Group and from community providers. Neurosurgery support for Deep Brain Stimulation treatment. Teaching affiliation with Florida State University is available if interested.
