Pediatric General Radiologist Career Opportunity Louisville, KY Norton Childrens Radiology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Childrens Medical Group, is recruiting for additional pediatric radiologists across multiple subspecialties. The practice currently includes fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists with training in various subspecialties, as well as a registered radiologist assistant, specialized nurses and radiology technicians. The newly renovated radiology space at Norton Childrens Hospital features advanced imaging technology: Two MRIs and one 3 tesla (3T) MRI machine Single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanner Two 256-slice CT scanners Biplane interventional suite FerriScan for liver or cardiac iron quantification Fluoroscopy equipment Advanced cardiac imaging (CT and MRI) to help diagnose and evaluate children and adults with congenital heart disease Ultrasound elastography to evaluate for chronic liver conditions Digital X-ray technology that uses minimal radiation compared with older machines Other facilities served by the team include Norton Womens & Childrens Hospital and Norton Childrens Medical Center, in which a new Siemens 3T MRI has recently been installed. Access to this advanced technology and multiple campuses allows the group to grow volumes and expand in complexity. As an integrated entity since 2020, Norton Childrens Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, has recruited over 100 providers, added four new accredited fellowships, expanded outreach throughout Kentucky, and increased funding from the trial drug network through Norton Childrens Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine.
