Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC), an independent, county-owned community hospital, is seeking a Medical Oncologist for an employed position in Cheyenne, Wyoming, located in the southeast corner of the state. Cheyenne Regional Medical Center was founded in 1867 as a tent hospital by the Union Pacific Railroad to treat workers injured while building the transcontinental railroad. Attributes of the position include: Clinic Schedule is Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM and Fridays from 8:00AM - 3:00PM. Clinic Call is approximately every 3rd weekend and 1-2 days per weekday. Inpatient call is unrestricted and providers round on patients admitted under providers care as needed. Consults are received while on call. Procedures: 20% Hematology / 80% Oncology Typical outpatient clinic schedule averages 12 to 16 patients per day with 1-2 new consults per day. Support Staff available: LPN that will complete rooming and scheduling (MA for back up as needed) and RN Triage Nurse on-site.
