Opportunity: ABIM-GastroenterologyThis is a Gastro Hospitalist opportunity working between two medical centers. Due to a retirement, there is an immediate need for a full-time provider with the potential to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Job Details:• Weekday coverage only from 8 am to 5 pm, no nights or weekends required
• Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift
• Minimum availability requirement is 2 weeks per month
• Opportunity to perform outpatient procedures if desired
• Must have completed GI Fellowship
• Required skills include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder
• Diagnostic ERCP capabilities required
• Experience with esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
• Proficiency in lower GI endoscopy, flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• Small bowel biopsy experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Board certification required
• Anticipated 90-day credentialing timeframe
