Responsibilities

As a Physician (Pediatrics), you will:

  1. Serve as a Pediatrics Physician, responsible for examination, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
  2. Provide care for a broad spectrum of health services, including preventative health care, developmental health care needs, and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.
  3. Address biological, social, and environmental influences on the developing patient, considering the impact of disease and dysfunction on development.
  4. Provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
  5. Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and quality assurance activities as assigned.
  6. Provide technical oversight of clinical staff (e.g., nurses, social workers, therapists, technicians) to enhance team-based care.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.

Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics.

Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. The degree must be accredited by the appropriate accrediting bodies. Foreign medical degrees must demonstrate education and medical knowledge equivalent to U.S. accredited schools, evidenced by certification or successful licensing examination.

Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
