Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) at Phoenix Children's is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist to join our team. Our mission at BNI is to improve the health and quality of life for children and adolescents with neurological, behavioral, and mental health diseases and disorders. The Pediatric Neurologist will diagnose and treat neurological conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have specialized training in pediatric neurology and a passion for providing exceptional care to pediatric patients and their families.

Our clinical staff includes 24 physicians, 5 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Dietitians, an Epilepsy Nurse Specialty Care Coordinator, nurses, and medical assistants. The clinical activities for the Division include approximately 1700 ambulatory visits, 157 multi-specialty inpatient consultations, and 480 inpatient subsequent visits per month, in addition to internal and external EEG reads, PEMU monitoring, sleep studies, epilepsy laser surgeries, and in-office procedures. The Neurology Division covers five satellite clinics (Arrowhead, Southwest Valley, Mercy Gilbert, Scottsdale, Northwest Valley), as well as inpatient neurology services on the main campus at Phoenix Children's. In 2024, inpatient coverage will expand to Phoenix Children's Arrowhead and Mercy Gilbert Hospital to meet the needs of our growing populations.

As Arizona’s only children’s hospital, Phoenix Children’s is a 484-bed, freestanding specialty children’s hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. The hospital serves a spectrum of patients from local community general pediatric patients to complex cases from throughout Arizona, surrounding states, and northern Mexico. Of the total beds, 48 are PICU, 48 CVICU, and 49 NICU licensed beds.
We are a rapidly growing organization with a comprehensive healthcare system including: the state’s only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center; a state-of-the-art motion analysis lab; full-range of specialty services including orthopedics, neurosciences, cardiovascular services, neonatology, and cancer and blood disorders; and high acuity specialties such as heart, liver, kidney, bone marrow, and stem cell transplantation.
