Position Details

• Primarily outpatient practice, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; some outreach including telehealth possible.
• Join a team of 1 Pediatric and 3 Adult Endocrinologists, 9 APCs, and a support team including CDCES RNs & RDs.
• Patients are admitted to St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 344-bed tertiary care hospital, and Essentia Health-Duluth, a 165-bed hospital, both on the same campus.
• Great support from Endocrinology and Pediatrics departments.
• Shared call responsibilities with a Pediatric Endocrinologist partner, with coverage provided for time away. Inpatient diabetic care is managed by hospitalists, pediatric intensivists, NPs, and PAs.

Practice Specifics

• Focus on quality of work, life, and balance.
• Patient volume: 12-14 per day.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Location

• Duluth, MN, at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior.
• Approximately 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
• Population: 86,000; Regional service area: 460,000.

Compensation

Starting at $250,000. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based pay.
