The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients in alignment with established clinical nursing practice standards.- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes.- Contribute to quality nursing care by implementing performance improvement techniques that yield positive patient outcomes.- Collect and analyze patient health data to identify health problems and develop individualized care plans.- Implement and assess interventions prescribed in care plans, while evaluating patient progress toward expected outcomes.- Ensure effective communication and coordination of care among healthcare teams and assist in discharge planning.- Delegate appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel in accordance with Board of Nursing regulations.- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations. Qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.- Previous travel experience is required.- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.- Proficiency in using Epic charting system is preferred.- Must possess skills in arterial line management, ventilator care, central line care, and monitoring of complex patient conditions. Unit Details: - The ICU supports adult and geriatric patient populations with a daily census of approximately 28 patients across 30 beds.- Interdisciplinary support staff includes IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and social services.- The position may require floating to like units based on facility needs. Requirements: - Valid OK or Compact RN license at the time of submission.- Flexibility in scheduling and responsibilities is necessary, including possible weekend rotations and floating as needed.At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
