American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring open heart OR scrub experience and proficiency with advanced cardiac procedures.Job Details•Position based in the Cardiovascular Operating Room of a hospital setting,•Patient population includes advanced cardiac surgery cases such as CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aortic dissections, pericardial windows, thoracotomies, VATS, and chest cases,•Procedures include ECMO, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, and robotic-assisted chest surgeries,•Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00am to 5:30pm,•Call required with a 30-minute response time,•Scrubbing is required for all open heart cases,•Travelers may be required to float to other campuses as needed,•Epic EMR experience required,Job Requirements•Active RN license in hand at the time of consideration,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,•Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required,•Must have direct open heart OR experience and ability to scrub open heart cases,•Must have hands-on experience with ECMO, TAVR, LVAD, and Impella,•Experience with robotic-assisted chest cases preferred,•Epic EMR experience required,•All RNs must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance (two attempts allowed; study materials not provided),•Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,Additional Information•Daily duties include scrubbing and circulating for complex cardiovascular surgeries and assisting with advanced cardiac procedures,•Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness or unexcused absences,•Participation in all required compliance modules and hospital orientation,•Module completion required during unit-based orientation (2-4 hours on average),•All travel nurses may be subject to floating to any campus as operational needs require,•RTO must be declared at time of application; additional time off requests after submission are not accepted,•No first-time travelers unless proficient in open heart OR,),•hash,:•17525095523093527607,
