Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine unit, as well as Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, and Women's & Pediatric Health services. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various departments, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Monitor patient conditions and assess any changes, responding promptly to emergencies.- Educate patients and their families about health management and medication administration.- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.- Participate in continuous professional development and training. Qualifications: - Valid nursing license in the state of Michigan.- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Location: This position is based in Marquette, Michigan, the largest community in the central region of the upper peninsula, known for its beautiful landscapes and home to Northern Michigan University. Guaranteed Hours: Contract length of 91 weeks with a commitment to ensure consistent staffing.
