Cnc Machinist
The CNC Machinist must be able to read and work from blueprints, as well as program, set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
Duties And Responsibilities
Essential:
- Setup and operate CNC Lathe using programs generated in Master Cam.
- Edit and optimize CNC Lathe programs for efficiency.
- Machine basic fixtures, and tooling to meet machining requirements.
- Measure and examine completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machine shop equipment.
- Operate and rig material handling equipment (overhead cranes, gantries, forklifts).
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years formal training (vocation or technical school).
- Five years previous experience in a machine shop and three years CNC machine operation.
- Must have own basic machinist's tools for machine setup and inspection.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and machining techniques.
- Familiar with Machine Shop Safety and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes.
- Experience in Master Cam programming is a plus.
- CNC Vertical and/or Horizontal Machining Centers experience is a plus.

Base pay rate for this position is $25.50 to $34.50.
