Office Manager Opportunity

What You'll Do
The Office Manager performs a variety of clerical/secretarial and administrative support functions of moderate scope and complexity requiring exercising considerable judgment and initiative. Responsibilities include assisting College staff, faculty, and students with information and clerical duties as needed. The role also involves providing support to the Counseling Center, Student Conduct, the Behavioral Intervention Team, Student Accessibility Services and other departments in Student Services as needed. Additionally, this position is responsible for ordering and reconciling payments for goods and services for all Student Services departments in conjunction with the Student Services Business Office.
Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
- Provides administrative and clerical support for the Department of Student Services, including the Dean of Student Services, Counseling Services, Student Accessibility Services, Student Life, and Student Conduct. Conducts daily secretarial functions such as maintaining subject files, scheduling, and calendar maintenance. Screens and routes all calls and questions for Student Services all inquiries, provides TSC information to the public, and makes appointments as needed.
- Interacts with students in a confidential manner concerning disciplinary and academic matters. Processes IT work order requests, travel and disbursement invoices, and collects purchase requisitions.
- Acts as liaison to Leon County Voter Registration office.
- Coordinate the Intake process for Student Accessibility Services.
- Assist the Assistant Director of Student Services with resolving Student Conduct holds.
- Create AiM tickets for Facilities Maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for food, supplies, and equipment, including tents, tables, and chairs, for events ranging from small meetings to large festivals and Convocation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- A Bachelor's Degree.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible secretarial and/or clerical experience; or a combination of education and/or experience.
