Job Summary
The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Office Manager supports the US Customs Compliance in overseeing operations and compliance related to COSTEXs Foreign Trade Zones.
Reporting to the FTZ Director, this role is responsible for the daily management and administration of COSTEXs FTZ operations, liaising with COSTEXs 3rd party business partners (including customs brokers, 3PLs, and ASCI Software) and is involved in other customs compliance functions such as valuation, tariff classification, country of origin marking, audit, freight billing, reporting, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for FTZ operations for the company.
Manage FTZ administration for multiple zone sites, including export formalities.
Adhere to and maintain FTZ operations manuals for each site.
Prepare and submit FTZ-related filings such as daily admissions (e214), ISF, weekly estimates (CF3461), weekly entries (CF7501), and export shipments (CF7512).
Manage inventory matters such as daily inventory balancing, overage and shortage program, scrapping, etc.
Maintain records in accordance with US Customs regulations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain Logistics, Sourcing/Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, etc.
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as 3PLs, customs brokers and
FTZ Management Software
Manage continuous improvement of FTZ operational practices.
Manage Partner Government Agency reporting (EPA, DOT, US Department of Agriculture, Toxic Substances Control Act, CTPAT, etc.)
Prepare and submit Annual Reports to FTZ Grantees
Manage and support FTZ Coordinator and FTZ Logistics Coordinators
Manage other compliance projects and tasks as assigned by senior management

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required.
Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
3+ years of US customs compliance experience including knowledge of CFR
Title 19
Experience with FTZ management required.
Project management experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Business, Logistic and /or accounting experience, AS400 System
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Experience with ASCI or other FTZ software required. AES, EEI
General office skills (filing, data entry, telephone, e-mails)
Fully Bilingual English and Spanish
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to pass a criminal history and background check, as required and conducted by US Customs
Ability to travel to COSTEXs FTZ locations, US Head office, and Global Head Office when needed (travel requirement estimate islessthan10%)
