Job Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental programs across Lenbrook Square Foundation, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role includes conducting safety audits, performing risk as-sessments, and investigating incidents to identify areas for improvement. The EHS Manager will collaborate with all de-partments to provide training, enforce proper infection control practices, and maintain compliance with healthcare regula-tions. This role will also conduct safety audits, investigates incidents, manages Workers' Compensation claims, and sup-ports FMLA processes in coordination with HR. Additionally, the role requires maintaining documentation of safety proto-cols and ensuring that all health and safety measures align with local, state, and federal standards to promote a culture of safety and well-being in the facility.
Essential Functions of the Job:
• Manages and maintains day-to-day safety programs and policies including auditing and regulatory recordkeep-ing/reporting; documents and investigates all incidents involving property damage, personal injury, safety viola-tion, unsafe conditions and non-compliance activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regula-tions.
• Shared collaboration with Facilities Manager to conduct safety programs to protect employees against harm and maintain safe working conditions.
• Formulates and suggests work safety standards and enforces procedures.
• Directs activities of safety committee and provides safety training.
• Advises management on corrective action for safety incidents.
• Provides technical safety support and information to all employees.
• Identifies company safety training needs and develops and coordinates safety training programs.
• Supports employees in the selection of appropriate PPE.
• Promotes safety awareness through internal company memoranda.
• Reviews injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental health safety, Engineering, Science, or closely related or equivalent technical experience plus demonstrated competencies.
• Safety certification(s) ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $108,000-$115,000
