nKimley-Horn's Eden Prairie office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Renewable Energy team.
nResponsibilities

- As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of civil engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship, camaraderie, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions. n
Our Renewable Energy team works on projects including:

Solar Site Design (Community-scale & Utility Scale)
n n - n
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Design
n n - n
Entitlements Support (all project sizes & types)
n n - n
Project Due Diligence and Site Constraints
n n - n
Jurisdictional Permitting and Agency Coordination
n n - n
Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
n n
Qualifications
n- n
- n
2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm that includes utilities, site layout, erosion control, grading & drainage, due diligence and permitting preferred
n n - n
Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
n n - n
"Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
n n - n
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
n n - n
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
n n - n
Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

Ability to work independently and as a team

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
