nInsight Global is seeking talented engineers to advance and support the development of electric drive control system components for the All Electric Navy. Our team shares the United States Navy's goals for more capable and affordable submarines, developing cutting-edge electric drive propulsion system components with a focus on first-time quality. Engineers will have unique opportunities to advance propulsion control technology, working within a diverse team to deliver robust, high-performance control systems for the COLUMBIA Class and beyond. Responsibilities include component design through internal research and development, with potential domestic travel based on program needs. Flexible work arrangements are offered, varying with the amount of classified material involved. Multiple roles are available for candidates interested in technical or programmatic support for control system components in a model-based systems engineering approach.

nSkills and Requirements
nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
n5-10 years of relevant experience in the field.
nAbility to identify and understand coding language
nUnderstanding of Embedded Systems and past experience developing models in code generation.
nMust hold an interim or active government secret clearance or be able to obtain one.
nKnowledge of C++ coding language, and VAIS/Vivado hardware systems (2-4 years)
nMATLAB/SIMULINK Experience. Graduate coursework in project management, engineering management, or business.
nExperience with Agile development and controls rapid prototyping via auto-code generation.
nKnowledge of industry-standard serial and high-speed serial protocols.
nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the U.S. DoD.
nExperience with Visual Studio, QT, Jira, Git.
nPrior technical experience in embedded system design, control system design, computer/software engineering, hardware engineering. null
