Job Description
nInsight Global is seeking an experienced engineer to support the design, manufacture, testing, and integration of the COLUMBIA Class Main Propulsion Control System (MPC) for a client. The role involves overseeing Main Propulsion Control design development, qualification testing, and analysis, with a focus on ensuring supplier deliverables meet all requirements. Engineers will oversee manufacturing at the vendor facility in Danbury, CT, assist in construction support at shipyards, and support shipboard integration testing in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities include managing software design efforts, verifying compliance with specifications, and supporting testing and troubleshooting. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including NAVSEA, NNL, NSWC, and vendors. Flexible work arrangements are offered, with potential domestic travel based on program needs.

nSkills and Requirements
nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
nExperience in control systems design and testing.
nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the U.S. DoD.
nDigital Signal Processing (3-5 years)
nAbility to identify and understand coding language.
nAbility tp use Microsoft products (Word, power point)
nMATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge Experience working with government customers.
nKnowledge of digital signal processors and general-purpose processors.
nFamiliarity with shipboard integration and testing.
nExperience with supplier management and enforcing technical requirements.
nAbility to mentor and review technical products. null
