nSummary:
nThe Process Engineer I will provide support in optimizing productivity and sustainability of EV battery production through a high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, spec aligning, process capability management, and high quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment
nResponsibilities:

Analyze productivity, yield and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of the assigned process and department

Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure the highest yield and OEE

Analyze Quality issues to provide corrective actions
n n - n
Improve production processes by creating various SOPs and training operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation on the floor

Compliance with health/safety/environmental/ fire regulations
n n - n
Spec. optimization and process conditions establishment
n n - n
PFD: process flow diagram, PFMEA: process failure mode and effects analysis, CP: control plan
n n - n
Chronic defect improvement activities
n n - n
Production/development model dissemination and 4M change verification
n n - n
Conduct internal and customer audits
n n - n
Non-conformance report handling and improvement
n n - n
Response to internal/external quality issues for the customer
n n - n
Establishment and revision of PFD, PF Manual
n n - n
Maintain cleanliness at work site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience

Must be available to work weekend/night shifts based on team’s needs

Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Must be Korean bilingual

Experience:

1-3+ years of experience in a production technology-related job is preferred but not required

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Previous experience working in an Asian HQ global company
