nPosition Overview:
nWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our culinary team at Juniper. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, has a strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
nWhat You’ll Do:
nPrep and Cook: Prepare ingredients and execute dishes for lunch and dinner service according to Juniper’s standards of excellence, ensuring quality and presentation align with our seasonal, creative menu.
nMaintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and dating of all food items in compliance with safety standards.
nCollaborate with the Team: Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and fellow kitchen staff to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, assisting with prep work, plating, and kitchen maintenance as needed.
nAdhere to Food Safety Standards: Follow all local, state, and federal food safety and hygiene regulations. Ensure your work area and kitchen equipment are cleaned and maintained properly.
nSupport Inventory and Delivery Management: Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper organization of dry goods, walk-ins, and storage areas. Assist in maintaining an organized kitchen and prep area.
nContribute to Culinary Creativity: Work with the culinary team to explore new techniques, ingredients, and presentations that align with Juniper’s commitment to fresh, inventive cuisine.

nKey Qualifications:
nMust be 18 years or older and have a valid Tulsa Food Handler’s Permit.
nBasic knowledge of food preparation and working in a kitchen environment.
nAbility to read and follow recipes accurately, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
nAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
nExperience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen is a plus.
nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
nStrong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and detail.
