Description: What You Will Be Doing
nLockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Material Review (MRB) Engineer located onsite in Ogden, Utah. A successful candidate will apply technical expertise to provide support for depot aircraft modification, maintenance, and delivery operations. Responsibilities for this position may include:
n- Anomaly investigation, technical solution development and coordination, and preparation and release of dispositions related to discrepancies on high performance aeronautical detail parts, assemblies, installations and finishes
n- Coordinate across a large number of functional areas, including Stress/Service Life, Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures and Systems Design groups, Safety, Materials and Processes
n- Work closely with the production floor, interface daily with customer engineering support staff, support work flow and process improvements, incorporate best practices into daily operations, and coordinate lessons learned and corrective action
nThe position is for first shift supporting the F-35 and F-22 aircraft. Candidate will be required to support MRB team staffing/ shop support coverage for occasional off shift and weekends. Business travel may be required on an occasional basis.
nCandidate will be required to participate in an extended period of training in Marietta, Georgia and Fort Worth, Texas prior to final deployment to Ogden, Utah.
nApplicant selected will be required to obtain Material Review certification.
nThis role requires hands-on involvement in evaluating non-conformances on aircraft and components, which may include climbing, working in confined spaces, working under low surfaces and handling parts in a fast-paced production/depot environment..

nMust be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
nBasic Qualifications:
n- Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
n- Experience with CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Unigraphics, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
n- Experience providing engineering support for aircraft production, modification, or sustainment
nDesired Skills:
n- Experience with CATIA V5 and Team Center
n- Experience with metallic and composite design and/ or analysis
n- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
n- Prior experience/ role with MR Engineering signature authority
n- Strong internal and external customer focus
n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
