Description: Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Quality Engineer. In this role, you will perform root cause and corrective action investigations, support First Article Inspections and utilize the non-conforming material process. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of 3D design and interpretation of engineering drawings. Must be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:

n

A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision.

n

• BS degree from an accredited college in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with at least 1 year of professional experience.

n

• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a matrix reporting structure.

n

• Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems.

n

• Ability to understand and communicate typical engineering/manufacturing concepts and processes.

n

• Strong analytical skills.

n

• Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access).

n

Desired Skills:

n

• Knowledge and experience of inspection processes and methods, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering technical data.

n

• Experience in Engineering, Operations, Quality, or Aerospace.

n

• Background in ISO 9001/AS9100.

n

• AS9102 FAI experience.

n

• Experience in using SAP, Solumina and MatrixOne.

n

• Knowledge and experience using quality tools (DIVE RRCA, 5 why's).

n

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
