*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our client's *private practice*. The practice is located approximately 45-50 minutes east of Pittsburgh.
They are seeking a dentist to focus on *working with teenagers* and treating their adult teeth. Working on children's teeth is not required.
This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, collaborating with a team of professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
This is a *very reputable office* with state of the art equipment and an amazing team. They only accept some PPOs and the rest is fee for service. They have a busy patient base already developed and many new patients each month.
*Responsibilities*
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Perform various dental procedures including but not limited to prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain infection control and ensure patient safety.
- Take and interpret vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, documenting treatments and progress.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, including CAD systems for restorative procedures.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and practice protocols regarding infection control.
*Qualifications*
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in various dental procedures, particularly in prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and ability to perform oral surgery when necessary.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of dentistry.
