Siemens scanner experience preferred. Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or large hospital setting is preferred. Description: The CT Tech will work in a department that handles high complexity cases. The position involves operating Siemens scanners and performing various CT procedures. Daily caseload per tech will vary but is typically substantial. Experience with outpatient and inpatient work settings is required. General skills in PACS and using contrasts are mandatory. The tech should be familiar with IV starts, portables, and biopsies. CT procedures required include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies. Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs, but floating to sister facilities is not required. Candidates must be comfortable with a demanding work environment and high patient volume. The tech will be part of an interdisciplinary support team and will participate in patient care. It is crucial to demonstrate expertise in managing complex cases efficiently. Travelers are expected to be flexible and adapt to varying schedules. All travelers will follow infection control practices and safety protocols. References and previous supervisory experience are preferred for submission.
