MRI Technologist
Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Non Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program Required.
Experience: 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required. 1 year experience as a MRI Technologist Preferred.
Licenses: Reg Technologist (R) Required. Basic Life Support Preferred. Reg Technologist (R) (MR) Preferred.
