Assembly Technician
Location: Kirkland, WA 98034 Job Type: Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available | 4 Month Contract to Hire Industry: Aerospace & Defense Pay Rate: $27.00/hour

Available Shifts
Sunday Wednesday | 6:00 AM 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM 3:30 AM
Wednesday Saturday | 6:00 AM 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM 3:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the department, your day-to-day may include:
- Structural and mechanical assembly using torque wrenches and hand tools
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Electrical testing, splicing fiber optic cables, or PCBA assembly
- Material handling using pallet jacks, cranes, or riding equipment
- Working with SAP and other computer-based systems for documentation
- Following aerospace specifications and quality standards
Must-Have Qualifications
2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production (aerospace preferred)
Proficiency with hand tools, torque wrenches, and mechanical assembly
Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and focused on quality and precision
Strong attendance record and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, automotive, construction, or electrical installation
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
Ability to follow visual and written instructions
Experience with fiber optics, PCBA, or mechanical/electrical testing
Departments Hiring
Final Integration: Satellite assembly, rigging, harnessing, torque application
Panel Lines: Fiber optic splicing, cable handling, sub-assembly installation
Mechanisms / Mixed Model Assembly: PCBA, mechanical/electrical testing
SSL: Aerospace manufacturing, blueprint reading, SAP usage
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
